In this work I speculate about the possibility that a robotic means of facilitating surgery may require the supports often deemed desirable by humans, The opportunity to add value by relaxing using activities such as baking bread, gardening and seeing friends is commended in wellness guides as a means of relaxing. Will a robotic surgical tool ever be thought of as equal or equivalent to a human?
